CALMAQ is specially designed to calculate emissions from fleets of machinery on construction sites or specific sites where machinery is used. It can be a work in progress, a work already finished or a projected work, where the specific machinery type, hours of use, age and some other characteristics are known. The substances that can be calculated with this tool are hydrocarbons (HC), carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen oxides (NOx), particulate matter (PM10) and (PM2.5), black carbon (BC), sulphur dioxide (SO2) and carbon dioxide (CO2). It also calculates the diesel fuel consumption and the energy consumed by the analysed fleet in a given time.
This tool makes it very easy to calculate emissions of air quality pollutants and greenhouse gases and compounds (GHG) from mobile machinery used in industrial, construction and agricultural projects.
